20th Nov 2013

CAIRO, (Xinhua & The Muslim News): At least ten soldiers were killed and 49 others injured on Wednesday in a bomb attack in Egypt’s Rafah city bordering Israel.

The off-duty soldiers were on their way home when an explosive device blew up two army vehicles near al-Kharboutah village in Shiek Zouid city northern Sinai.

The toll may rise as many of the wounded are in serious conditions, the source added.

Since July, 49 Egyptian soldiers have been killed in Sinai by militants.
