Muslim News Awards for Excellence by Nick Clegg Online

Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats last night attended the Muslim News Awards for Excellence to present the Ibn Battuta Award for fair, accurate and balanced reporting on an issue involving Muslims.
The award was presented to Mehdi Hasan, editor for news and current affairs at Channel 4. He is the youngest editor in commissioning and received the award mainly for his work in commissioning 5 ‘Dispaches’ documentaries addressing ‘Islamophobia’ in the UK.
