Palestine: 38 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces from West Bank and Israel

International Middle East Media Center: Earlier on Thursday, Israeli forces abducted at least 38 Palestinians from the West Bank, occupied East Jerusalem and In Israel according to reports by witnesses, media and security sources.

According to WAFA Palestinian News & Info Agency, Jerusalem police reportedly took into custody 21 Palestinians, including minors, for protesting the killing and burning of Mohammad Abu Khdeir on July 2nd, in Jerusalem. Police said that a total of 201 Palestinians were arrested in the aftermath of Abu Khdeir’s killing, including 45 Palestinians who were indicted.

Two Palestinians were also taken from Arab towns inside Israel. One is from Um Al-Fahim and another, who is a 14-year-old minor, is from Tur‘an.

Two residents of Kufr Ra‘i were also abducted by police, to the southwest of Jenin, while they were in 1948 areas.

Futhermore, five Palestinians — two from Al-‘Issawiya and three from Old City Jerusalem — have also been taken into police custody.

The Israeli Military base near Al Ram, north of Jerusalem, was attacked last night.

Last night, a group Palestinians opened fire against a Israeli soldiers near the area of Al Ram, north of Jerusalem, where there is an Israeli military base. The PNN reported no injuries, but forces immediately sealed off the area and began to look for the responsible parties. No arrests have been reported so far.

Israeli forces are closing al-Aqsa mosque every day, now, between 7:30am and 11:30am, so that Israeli settlers can tour the compound.

In the Hebron district, Israeli forces raided Bani Na‘im, located to the east of the city, where WAFA reports they arrested three after breaking into and ransacking their houses.

Soldiers also raided Hebron city,

taking with them four Palestinians, including two aged 19 and 26, following a similar house raid. Confrontations erupted in Bab al-Zawya, Ras Al-Jura, and Halhoul Bridge, in which forces fired both live ammunition and rubber-coated bullets, teargas canisters and sound bombs at residents, injuring many and causing many suffocation cases.

In the Asida area, east of Beit Ummar, a 20-year-old Palestinian was shot in the foot, while another youth sustained broken bones after being chased by soldiers.

To the north of Hebron, armed Israelis stormed Al-Arroub refugee camp in a similar fashion, while also targeting homes. Three were shot and injured by live fire, while many others took injuries from rubber-coated bullets.

Several others suffocated from teargas inhalation.

Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, Israeli troops raided the town, where one 18-year-old Palestinian was also kidnapped, after his house was also raided and ransacked.
