Palestine: Israeli soldiers invade Teqoua’ near Bethlehem

IMEMC & Agencies: Local sources have reported that several Israeli soldiers invaded, late on Tuesday at night the village of Teqoua’, east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and clashed with local youths.

 

The sources said that the army fired gas bombs, rubber-coated metal bullets and concussion grenades at local youths who hurled stones and empty bottles at them; several residents have been treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Furthermore, soldiers installed a road block at one of the village’s main roads, stopped and searched dozens of vehicles and interrogated the residents.
