IMEMC & Agencies: Friday evening Palestinian medical sources have reported that a Palestinian farmer was shot by Israeli army fire, as he worked in his land in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.

The sources said that that Omar Abu Muhareb, 50, was moved to the Al-Aqsa Hospital after being shot by a live round in his thigh.
Eyewitnesses have reported that soldiers, stationed on a military tower across the border east of Deir Al-Balah, fired several rounds of live ammunition at farmers in the area.
The army repeatedly opens fire at Palestinian farmers working in their lands close to the border areas in the coastal region.
