International Middle East Media Center: Israeli forces, this past week, kidnapped five Palestinians from the districts of Jenin and Bethlehem, in the West Bank, in addition to two others from Jerusalem, according to reports by local and security sources.

Palestine News & Info Agency WAFA reports that the army invaded the city of Jenin, where they abducted a 31-year-old in the neighborhood of Kharruba, after storming his house. 48-year-old Khaled al-Hajj, an ex-detainee, was also taken, upon raiding and sabotaging the content of his home, in addition to seizing his computer and laptop.

Meanwhile, forces stormed the house of Mohammad Essayyed and interrogated him. Mohammad is a previously released prisoner and a professor at al-Quds Open University.

Furthermore, the army invaded the nearby neighborhood of Wad Burqin, kidnapping a 25-year-old who serves in the Palestinian National Security.

In the Bethlehem district, Israeli forces stormed the nearby villages of al-Arruj and al-Abidiyya and abducted two, aged 30.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police also kidnapped ex-detainee Medhat al-Issawi in the suburb of Issawiyya, leading him to a police station in the city.

Medhat is the brother of Samer al-Issawi, an ex-detainee who sustained the longest hunger strike ever in Israeli jails, in 2011 and 2012, in protest of administrative detention.
