IMEMC & Agencies: Palestinian medical sources reported that several Palestinians have been injured after a group of extremist Israeli settlers hurled stones at their vehicles close to various roadblocks, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of settlers gathered at main junctions, especially near military roadblocks, and hurled stone at Palestinian vehicles and residents, causing damage and several injuries.

They added that Israeli soldiers also detained and interrogated dozens of residents, and violently attacked several Palestinian youths.

The army also declared the area as a closed military zone and deployed dozens of soldiers on main roads and junctions, obstructing Palestinian traffic. Soldiers detained and interrogated dozens of residents while inspecting their ID cards.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli sources reported that an Israeli settler of the Yitzhar illegal settlement, near Nablus, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian man near the Za’tara roadblock.

Following the attack, a group of extremist Israeli settlers attacked two Palestinian buses transporting female school students on a field trip, and hurled stones at dozens of Palestinian vehicles; at least 20 Palestinians have been injured, some were moved to local hospitals.

The settlers closed main junctions in Nablus, burnt tires and hurled stones at dozens of Palestinian vehicles.

They also set ablaze Palestinian olive trees that belong to villagers of Huwwara, Aseera Al-Qibliyya, Madama and Orif, all near Nablus.

A number of settlers also hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles near the Ennab roadblock, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.

In related news, a young Palestinian man was stabbed and seriously injured in Jerusalem, and was moved to the Hadassah Israeli hospital in the city.
