IMEMC & Agencies: Tuesday evening, Palestinian medical sources reported that several Palestinians have been injured during clashes that took place with Israeli soldiers near the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
The sources said the soldiers fired several gas bombs, causing dozens of residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, and that four Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated metal bullets.
Eyewitnesses said dozens of young Palestinian men prevented the soldiers from invading various neighborhoods in the refugee camp, and hurled stones and empty bottles at them.
In related news, Israeli military sources claimed live rounds were fired towards the Beit El nearby settlement, but reported no injuries.
Clashes took place after Israeli soldiers closed the main road between Ramallah and the al-Jalazoun, and installed a sudden roadblock at the entrance of the camp preventing the Palestinian from crossing.
