The sources said that the army invaded the city through its eastern side, advanced into the Al-Ma’ajeen neighborhood west of the city, and kidnapped Bara’ Ghassan Thouqan, 18, and Asem Montaser Ash-Shinnar, 16.
Asem is a student of the Najah University in Nablus, while Ash-Shinnar is the son of Mustafa, a university teacher imprisoned by Israel under arbitrary administrative detention orders without charges.

Both were cuffed, blindfolded and placed in military before being taken to an unknown destination.

Last month, Israeli soldiers kidnapped 13 members of the Islamic Bloc at the Najah University.

On Sunday evening, soldiers kidnapped one Palestinian, and injured two, after the army invaded Wadi Al-Louza neighborhood in Silwan, in occupied Jerusalem.

Soldiers also invaded the West Bank district of Bethlehem, and kidnapped six Palestinians.
