Pakistan: Police arrest over 100 suspects in Karachi crackdown

KARACHI, (The News): Police conducted raids in various parts of the city on Monday after midnight, arresting over 100 people allegedly involved in street crimes, robberies, drug business and other crimes.


According to the police,  70 suspects were rounded up in Landhi, and Korangi, nine in Zaman Town and Chakra Goth, five in Awami Colony, two in Malir City and six in Saudabad, recovering drugs and heavy amount of cash from their possession


As many as 10 people including three Afghan nationals were held in Soldier Bazar. Seven suspects were apprehended within the remits of Jamshed Quarter Police Station while were eight held in Gadren. Cases have been lodged against the accused under different sections.
