Pakistan: Security tightened for Muharram in Balochistan

QUETTA, (The News): Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has stressed the need for maintaining peace during Muharram-ul Haram.

 

Speaking at a high level meeting here Sunday‚ the chief minister said security has been beefed up in the province to ensure peace during Muharram.

 

The Chief Minister urged the Ulema to play an effective role for peace in the province.

 

The meeting was attended by Ulema of all schools of thought‚ provincial ministers and security officials.
