Pakistan: Six killed over land dispute in Kurram


PESHAWAR, (Dawn): At least six people were killed and 13 others were injured when two groups clashed during a jirga in Upper Kurram on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

A jirga was under way to settle a land dispute in Khyber Agency’s Gaidu area when participants opened fire. Subsequently, six people were killed on the spot whereas 13 others sustained injuries.

The local people shifted the dead and wounded to a hospital.
