Pakistan: Three CD shops damaged in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR, (Dawn): Three CD shops were damaged in explosions in northwestern Pakistan’s Peshawar town on Tuesday.

Two shops were damaged in the explosion that occurred at 5:30 am in Peshawar’s Mian Iqbal chowk.

The site of the blast lay within Peshawar’s Cantonment area.

In the second explosion, unknown militants blew up a CD shop of one Khairullah of Lalarukh Colony on Kohat Road.

The blast damaged the entrance of the shop.

No casualties were reported in the explosions.

Toy bomb explodes in Bara

Separately in Khyber tribal region’s Bara tehsil, a roadside toy bomb exploded, critically injuring a child.

The explosion occurred in Bara’s Karigar Ghari area.
