UPPER DIR, (The News): Five persons fell into the river Panjkora, when the rope suspending the chairlift snapped. Geo News reported.

 

Three out of the five were rescued, while two are still missing.

 

Sources confirm that five persons in a chairlift were crossing the river on their way to the outskirts of Warai village, when the rope of the chairlift suddenly snapped, plunging the occupants into the river Panjkora below, three of the occupants were rescued and have been shifted to a local hospital for treatment, while two are still missing.

 

Police sources add, that the rescue efforts are facing difficulties as the river flow is rough,
